This is my son coming for Christmas from from his first 9 months stationed in Alaska. He's off to Afghanistan in the Spring.

The back story of Taylor getting home included a gift from a stranger of $800 to pay half his ticket home. She met Taylor's grandma in an online travel discussion forum while grandma was researching the cheapest fare to get him from Alaska to home in Houston. This Christmas angel didn't hesitate to offer to immediately contribute to his fare, citing the honor of helping bring a soldier home.

  • one of the most touching moments of this video is when father and son embraced, you could see the rest of the family step away and father and son were both crying. That brought me to tears and made me long to have my dad alive again so I could hug one more time. I will get to do that along with my little brother when we are reunited in Heaven. Thank you so very much for keeping us safe and paying the price for our freedom. GOD BLESS YOU
