  • stop with the green vs brown silliness! All have carbon and nitrogen, vegetable leftovers and weeds have the ideal carbon to nitrogen ratio. All you are doing is spreading misinformation about composting and teaching people the wrong stuff. Get better informed before spreading it.

  • do you know if it makes a difference whether I put my compost bin in the shade? or should I find a sunny spot for it??? I have a shady spot in my yard, but I'm worried stuff wont compost... :o/ and does it matter if the leaves are wet?! This IS Vancouver after all...
