What happens when you place a young blacksmith from Notting Hill, London in a recording studio and roll some tape?
In the case of James Newton Adams you get an extraordinary song based album in the Lo-Fi tradition, think BECK meets COLDPLAY whilst chilling out over at LOU REED's place.
James brings his voice, Tom Gray, son of The Police producer Nigel Gray plays guitar, Nick Webb of The Lea Shores blows the cornet and producer Sascha Panknin adds bass, keyboards and some electronic Schnick-schnack.
The album "Stripdown": a must for everyone who likes Electro-Future-Retro music.
Directed by Sascha Panknin
