Ingredients: 1 lb sweet potato leaves and stems, cut into 2" pieces,
1 small onion,
1/2 can diced tomatoes,
1 T oil,
1 t salt,
2 T tiny dried red shrimps,
1 1/4 C water.

Clean sweet potato leaves and stems and cut into 2" pieces. In a pot over medium heat, fry onion in oil. When translucent, add tomato and fry several minutes. Add water, salt and shrimp and bring to a boil. Add sweet potato leaves to boiling sauce, cover and let simmer about 8 minutes or until the stems are tender. Serve hot over rice.

Ingredients:
450g feuilles de patate douce (coupees en gros morceaux),
1 oignon moyen,
1/2 boite de tomates concasses,
1 c.a.s. huile,
1 c.a.c. sel,
2 c.a.s. chevaquine rouge,
1/4 litre d'eau.

Rincez bien les feuilles de patates douce. Dans une marmite sur feu moyen, faites frire l'oignon dans l'huile. Lorsqu'il devient transparent, ajoutez les tomates et laissez mijoter pour en faire une sauce (environ 3-5 minutes). Ajoutez l'eau, le sel et la chevaquine et portez la sauce a l'ebullition. Ajoutez les feuilles a la sauce bouillante, mettez le couvercle et laissez mijoter 8 minutes ou jusqu'a ce que les feuilles soient bien tendres mais pas molles. Servez chaud avec du riz.
