  • I really enjoyed your video. I wasn't sure how to use a fake book, thanks to you, now I know.

  • WTF. At 4:00 you started playing fancy all of a sudden. I'm watching the video to figure out how you decide what kind of fancy to play!! And how you come up with it!

  • you started wailing and then showed us how to play single notes. i know how to play the single notes. how do you wail???

  • Thank you. Very helpful.

  • How would I play Fm7 this way???

  • Thanks for this.

  • Sweet u got steinway.

  • @TheLovelyPiano Well, yes. The chord symbols are intending you to play the chord. But he's just shortening it so you can get the basics of it. With a lead sheet, though, there aren't too many limitations. So do whatever sounds good when you read it :D

  • So basically, you have to know your chords. lol Oh! I thought when it says Ab, it meant play the Ab "chord" not merely the note. Hmmm..interesting. I really learned something. I guess if you know the chords, you could also play them as well. Or perhaps even play the Ab octave in the left hand.

    Sounds great! You're cute too.

    ; )

  • Thanks for taking the time to create the vids :)
