  • @urkingod Share news reports with him and subscribe to newsletters/groups of people who possible food shortages...many of my friends are not doing this; I encourage them to do so.Make it a daily effort to prepare for this, whether it is dehydrating foods, preparing my garden beds, shopping for thrift-store mason jars (buy new lids), or visiting foreign food markets to see the dried goods they have to sell. Begin by explaining that rising costs of food/fuel are a reason to start saving/preparing.

  • my dad in Japan asked me, "since when and who is telling you that USA is going to panic and collapse?, why are you (I am in the US), interested and telling me this? No one in Japan is aware of it nor talking about it." ..... How do I explain to hm ?
