also mac are 999.00{cheapest} and a compaq is 400.00 or 350.00, but they use the same 1gb or 2 gb ram, dont belive me, look on ebay

Also, with the PC, you'd tend have to wait for a while before you're fully mobile. Failure to comply with these unofficial regulations, with all PCs, in general, will induce the notion of the lagging of specific programs, which can also involve the freezing of the screen. I'm a recent Mac convert, and have never experienced such issues with my Mac.

Also try using hibernate on the vista laptop and then compre. I think youl be surprised.

All compaqs are slow. I have a Gateway MT6728 with Windows Vista. It turns on faster than any Mac I've ever used. I think that both Windows and Macs are great computers. They both have there pluses and minuses. Mac has the dock, Windows Vista has transparent boxes, ect., they are both great. All computers are.
