This is QRIO one of the most advanced humanoid robot. Sony decided to kill the project. Why? Some people got scared because fluid human like movement or it was near to fulfill Asimov laws? or? Comments appreciated (even funny ones :-) ). (audio remastered)

  • EVERY time that man has made any real advancments in science and engineering it has been at the terrible cost of inching all of us disasterously toward global anihalation because of the serious and dire social problems of this world. Sometimes in order to inch instead towards solving some of those problems, we inadvertently also risk getting secum to those idiot rulers that would try to use these things, like these robots, to put people under their thumb instead of helping us or the economy.

  • @queenhughes because they're really projects to test for bigger things.

  • you have some great stuff here

  • SONY,PLEASE THE WORLD WANT QRIO ALIVE!IS THE BEST ROBOT!

  • @punchthedog let me add a number 4. Even if they the laws where real robots are not advanced enough to really harm humans shit they cant even run faster then 8 miles an hour

  • robotics is on the rise right now with asimo and nao so now would be the perfect time for sony to bring qrio back, all robotics start off expensive but gets cheaper over time and they could look for investors or endorsers like nao, i mean c'mon sony bring qrio back, qrio was cooler than asimo and nao in my opinion

  • @mickiller100 Beaver made, ant made, monkey made...
