  • OK guys if you did all what I did I think I failed to mention to check your coolant make sure that this system is air tight or this may mess with your idle control valve since it operate by coolant pressure also check your fast idle valve make sure that it isn't pushed out to far if it is then go ahead and screw it back in then back it out a bit.

Now if you done all this and your shit is still erratic then start looking for vacuum leaks and cracked hoses.. Good luck..

  • my prelude started doing the same thing, it started yesterday, everyone keeps telling me its fuel filter, or throttle body,,,,,,

did you fix you crv or not???

  • @diznab900 yes it did fix problem you also have to clean fast idle control valve behind it not hard to remove clean that also then run it with air cleaner off while spraying deep creep it throtle body it going to sound like shit and see smoke from the pipe, but keep rev up and before you know it the throttle is stable again.

  • problem solved... can you guess?? it was the throttle body it was filthy i cleaned it out with deep creep and a old tooth brush now it runs like a champ..

  • can someone list where should we start ?

  • Anyone with idle problems should start with the throttle body FIRST! even if it isnt that bad or your idle drops when u turn the wheel, turn ur heater on etc. just clean your throttle body.

The IAC valve will overcompensate and fuck up if its dirty. Start at step 1, not 2 or 3

  • @mleenoy thankss meng real helpfull !!!!!!!

  • @diznab900 i have the same problem currently also with my H22a crx.. i changed fuel filter, and spark plugs didnt change anything with mine yet.. but when i had my 2000 honda civic si when i did a full tune up it deffinatly helped big time... next up im gonna try a new idle sensor with a chipped P28 ecu... if that dont work im gonna drive it over to a local shop to a trust worthy mechanic i have..

  • i have this problem already cleaned everything how did u fix it?

  • Valves seat problem. Needs a head.

  • i have the same problem but only when i turn my a/c or defogger it latly starting doing it also when i shift to nutral all of a sudden

  • i do know if you clean out your iac sensor,it will not make a difference, unless you also make sure it is not stuck in place, which was the case in my girlfriends ford 1998 explorer,if you look inside it works with a spring, you may have to clean it,then pry the pin that carries a spring,to make sure it moves freely.

  • Best way to keep the intake manifold clean is to install a steel fuel filter on the pcv valve line going from the engine to the intake manifold. What happens is that old crank oil and gasoline deposits gun up fuel injectors and idle control sensors from the pcv intake. The steel fuel filter will stop the gunk and pass clean oil to lube the intake insted of dirty oil.

  • @kirtass13 Use Carb & Throttle Body Cleaner
