  • sun jun's hairstyle is the hottest trend at that time

  • i dont think they would stand a chance with that kinda play at this time of year.. see lin dan and chong wei, fast game n power play.. these are the days where they still play that 15-point game.. it changes the pace altogether...

  • @lg123xyz The fact that you disparage the Euro champs shows me that you don't know high level badminton, and that you yourself have never played at a level beyond recreational. Peter's reputation amongst his high level peers is one of the best, and those who have played at that high level know how impressive he was as a player, and is still as a person. Do you know how hard it is just to win a match at Euro champs?

  • @egibney The facts are he's never won any other major title since. Everything else is just an excuse - what other facts do I need to know.

  • @egibney WOOOOOOOOOW Euro championships lollll That's like playing in a tournament and only inviting players you know are weaker than you. Meaningless.

  • @lg123xyz and yes, you are entitled to your opinion, I won't deny you that, all I'm saying is that your opinion is based on not knowing all the facts. It's easy to criticize someone who's done something great while sitting in your comfortable chair.

  • @lg123xyz 2nd to your point about Peter being a one shot wonder. Peter spent most of his career after this match dealing with injuries of his own. However, in spite of this he still managed to win 2004 Euro champs by beating Kenneth Jonassen and contributing to Denmark's Thomas Cup winning over Simon Santoso. I would point out that your knowledge of the game is limited to what you've seen on television while I have personally met most of the players you admire.

  • @lg123xyz 1st to your point about Sun Jun getting "injured". He did not get injured, he started to cramp because he was too tired. In badminton cramping does not allow you injury time outs because it is caused by lack of fitness. Rasmussen is well known for having been the fittest player of his time. He ran Sun Jun into the ground which is something that almost never happens, it's impressive not lucky.

  • @egibney I am entitled to my opinion which is all I need to justify my criticism. I do not need to be anything but a human being. You obviously have no rebuttal to my points which explains your feeble attempt at trying to launch a personal attack which is fine. I understand your strategy by trying to diverge from the actual point at hand which remains Peter Rasmussen only won because Sun Jun was injured. He hasn't won anything major since, a one shot wonder, nothing more nothing less.

  • @lg123xyz "no statue has ever been erected for a critic"

What have you done in your life? Have you won a world title?

Have you become a medical doctor? How about an eye cancer researcher? Or a husband and father with three children that still drives them to and from kindergarten everyday in spite of your busy schedule?

Perhaps you should spend less time criticizing people you don't know, and couldn't ever hold a candle to, and instead spend your time making something of yourself.

  • @axesmill peter rasmussen could definately beat taufik and peter gade and lin dan and lee chong wei

  • Of course Peter Rasmussen wouldn't stand a chance against Lindan or Lee Chong Wei. Hell, even yang yang and zhao xianhua would be obliterated. That is because back then, they didn't have the advantage of modern training and knowledge past over from previous players, like how the top players in their own way copied Hendrawan's deceptive net play.
