  • Ehrlich is a great man, but I can't stand all the religious shit that is in this video and coming from Killen. Thumbs down.

  • @mycatisromeo The notion of "If I work hard and work smart I can rise to the top and become a billionaire" is fundamentally flawed in that it is a notion that will fail in the majority of cases. I do not claim to have the answers to the problems of society and capitalism, but I am passionate about making sure that people don't get suckered into the empty promises it offers.

  • @mycatisromeo The problem in the world is not overpopulation. The planet has more than enough resources to support a human population of above 10 billion. The problem is with the system of resource distribution. The fundamental core of the issue lies at the underlying doctirine of capitalism. Increase profit. Humanity has build itself a supporting scaffold of human corpses to prop up the wealthiest few. We buy into this system because it provides a hollow notion of hope. cont...

  • @mycatisromeo The problem with this guys arguments are that he is placing the blame of poverty on the people who are suffering from it. Christopher Hitchens illustrates the solution beautifully "The only way to bring people out of poverty is to empower women by giving them control of their reproduction." The Catholic Church absolutely opposes such a notion and therefore the heavily religious poverty sticken demographic will not use even basic contraception such as condoms. cont...

  • I want to work under Paul Ehrlich and be his protege. This guy is SMART. And I've always felt there were too many people causing too many problems well before I was in high school even. And in the past 12 year since, I have learned A LOT!

  • Just look at Mexico City and Los Angelas for an prime example of overpopulation.

  • So, Malthus right, wasn't he?
