This is the Lasius queen "mity" shortly after I discovered the plague. All visible mites could be removed later, see the other videos for that.

  • @DanishnSonic I guess they don't know what's wrong. Chances are even the queen doesn't realize what's going on, only that it is very difficult to bear. Since the mites wear her own smell, she might even "think" that they are some kind of offspring? I don't know.

  • No, those are mites. Parasites. I didn't find them earlier, so they could grow to these hordes. Fortunately, I could free my ant queen "mity" from these little buggers.

  • @mrmp34 Im talking about they are more aggresive to termites than any other bug. They even inflatrate their domains.

  • If you guys are talking about termites, well then this make may sense. For some reason ants and termites seem to attack each other for some reason. Nobody quite knows why
