@TheNewMusicNetwork Dude, would you just shut up? Jesus Christ you're an idiot. Piss off retard, you're stinking up the earth. ,|,, ,,|,

@thenewpunkrockkid <---------------FUCKING MORON,
What I hate about idiot cock polishers like you, ones that just eat up whatever some hippie fuckcrap documentary says is that you haven't nary a fucking clue as to how it was. All you have to go on is some lame ass hippie faggot film.
The hardcore skaters were from the south bay and OC and they skated to punk rock, not the faggot shit in this doc.
Know your role, bitch.

@TheNewMusicNetwork And the bottom line is everyone has their own style, their own flow and their own music they listen to. These guys were some of the most influential skaters ever, you really can't deny that. And if you do, wake up. But in the end, just go out there and fucking skate and surf. Don't reply man, there's no point.

@TheNewMusicNetwork Redondo and Hermosa are pretty much right below Venice... They're ~10 mi down the beach, which isn't very far at all. Yeah, those guys are good and I like that they listened to punk, but dude face facts. Stacy Peralta MADE the Bones Brigade, the team that birthed Tommy Gurrero, Tony Hawk, Mike McGill, and Rodney Mullen. Tony Alva for a while owned one of the most successful board companies. Jay Adams was as punk and hardcore as Duane and Steve. The Z Boys weren't hippies.

@thenewpunkrockkid I said ALL over and most of it was done in orange county, south bay(redondo, hermosa), etc. Duane peters and steve olson were the first punk rock and hardcore skaters. they brought the crazy ideas, not these long haired posers.
btw what a shitty soundtrack. clearly a hippie movie.
meanwhile olson and peters were skating to the ramones and the germs.

@TheNewMusicNetwork Hey, uh, bro. Venice beach is in SoCal. It's to the west of Los Angeles, north of Long Beach, and south of Malibu. Look it up on Google Maps if you don't believe me, but it's pretty much the heart of southern California.

@ApocalypticMetalHead z-boys = hippie fags.
the hardcore surfers and skaters were in the south bay and oc. fact
-
@thenewpunkrockkid that's not true. skateboarding blew up all over socal.
-
@skaterocknroll no goons, beaners, afro-bozos or hawaiin turds either.
-
no tri-fins, no leashes, cadillac wheels were "brand new" & you surfed/skated/partied because it was fun, not for the money or recognition.
Very inspiring - I'm going to go throw some tiles at people right now!
