"Autumn Leaves." Hammond A100, Leslie 125 (the old "home model" Leslie with only the bottom rotor). Please excuse my "warts and all" playing of this song :)

  • Anyone know what his drawbars are set at?

  • Top: 88800088

    Bottom: 80800000

  • Great playing & definitely rich sound. Was this played through your Leslie only or did you also use the A100 internal speaker?

  • Leslie 125 only... about 6 ft from camera.

  • @sts121 A friend of mine bought one in similarly pristine condition. He was very unhappy with it, so we spent some time increasing the gain to overdrive the leslie.

  • @nuttdan A common misconception my friend!

Autumn Leaves and All The Things You Are both are circular progressive, meaning they follow counterclockwise the circle of 5ths. Nearly all standard songs follow these changes along with Gershwins famous "Ive got Rhythm" progression. GREAT STUFF!

  • It belonged to an old lady who bought it in 1962... so it never got moved or saw any abuse in church. It's perfect :)

  • it sounds Very nice.

have you had the organ serviced? It sounds very clean

  • We liked the old B3 at Abbey Road studio so much our producer/bandmember bought a vintage A100 w/leslie for our next LP. Sweet it is man!
