Recorded at the Ruth Lilly Performance Hall in the Christel Dehaan Fine Arts Center at the University of Indianapolis on 10 November 2011.

The head of the composition department at the University of Indianapolis, Dr. John Berners, organized a residency with two high school violinists. The purpose of this was to give the students a chance to perform new music. Berners thought, "What will they play? I know—student compositions!" "Moto Prokofetuo" is the result of this residency.

  • @FlyingBlackAndWhite Yes, it is. The name is a combination of "Moto Perpetuo" and "Prokofiev."

  • that is some interesting polyphonic writing there! it is a very interesting piece. Is this some kind of Hommage to Prokofiev?
