Looks fun, but the stuff you did toward the end was anything but "free fighting"!

@haotaichichuan yeah, I fear for one trying to attack someone who knows both taiji quan and baji quan.... high defense kungfu styles. I've learned some Chen Style Taijiquan along with a few forms of Bajiquan.

One proverb reads, Taijiquan rules china, Bajiquan defends China. Definitely atleast "cousin" style martial arts. If not, Half sister kungfu styles

was wondering what is hso style taichi? nvr heard about it, n the baji applications doesn't seems is hao's style, why is it?

@eagleclaw1080 Hi! The Hao style is derived from the original Wu Yu Xiang style (and, later, by his nephew, Li Yi Yu) in the 1800's. The original Wu Yu Xiang style is a combination of Yang Luchan's original form and Chen Qing Ping's small frame (compact) Taiji Quan form. Much of the Taiji Quan Classics were authored by Wu Yu Xiang and Li Yi Yu who later passed the style on to Hao Wei Zhen. He became so adept at the style that it eventually became known as the Hao style.

Respond to this video...Baji Quan and Hao Taiji Quan are different completely different styles, but they both use many similar internal applications. The power that they emit is strikingly similar.

what style of Baji do you do ?

@Mengcunman Hi, my sparring partner at that time, Matt, did Baji Quan. I'm not sure which Baji style he practiced. The Hao style Taiji Quan, which I practice, is another "small frame", internal martial art. The two styles are very highly compatible.
