Urban Kinesic Stage User Testing Video

This design project will explore the communication of emotions through human movements (especially in context of gesture) as a new sensory language and an interaction modality. Various aspects of the human body movement can be related to how we expand our senses to explore the world and how that can be translated into a certain meaning. In this project, a range of movements that used in performance art context (especially dance) are observed. And these observations are later used as a deriving point for the aspects of the bodily communication of emotional states. These aspects are the driving force for evolution of the design and the resulting product.

This video demonstrates the use of Urban Kinesic (Artefact of Urban Stage) with Travel Art Dance Company.
