i used to eat like crap until last year when i started eating healthier. in fact, right now i could be eating healthier but overall i'm eating healthier than i used to. i would like to avoid most dairy products, meat, and other processed junk. i want to be eating like a 7th day adventist.
Oh it's true about craving healthy food, I have recently changed my eating habits these past few months to basically all the food he said, i have been brought up on veggies as a kid, but i was a naughty kid that was always a bit chubby coz i use to spend my lunch money on unhealthy snacks, and i would always beg for fast food, its so addictive, i would always prefer a burger or pizza, but now that i don't eat bad food any more, i only crave nutritious food now and i feel great for it!
I mainly eat just cabbage, potatoes, carrots, rice, oils, different beans and lots of juicy meat. Also pure rye bread, other whole grain products, real butter and milk.
Those are like the cheapest things you can find in a supermarket, especially if you can find meat with that -50% expiration date discount.
And I feel fucking great! Haven't been sick in ages (except for a food poisoning this year abroad).
the more colors you eat the better, whites are couliflower, garlic, onions. green leafy veggies, and green pepper. oranges, cantilope, carrots, yams, purple, red or concord grapes, blueberries, pomegranites. red pepper, red cabbage, cherries, water melon, pink grapefruits.tomato,eat a variaty of colors, each color has it's health benefits, but if you're as diabetic stick with the veggies instead of the fruit.
