The US Military defends their right to do that... it's in their Oath and it's in the Constitution... the 1st Amendment... If I were a Marine I wouldn't really have cared, I would have been upset but I wouldn't have done anything to stop them... it's their right to do so

That flag once represented a great nation. Because of right wingers and their greedy warmongering evil ways. It represents a degenerate nation. Hence the spiritual power of that symbol is evil now. I would not care to burn that thing in front of a bunch of WW2 vets because that flag was still good when they served it. I'd burn it now though. I'd love to burn the right wingers who defiled it with their evil ways right alongside it too. Burn their bullshit bible with it too.

Are you saying that the Marines would violate the First Amendment and try to prevent a citizen of the United States from invoking their political freedom protected under the Constitution and enforced by the Supreme Court of the United States?
Burning the flag isn't a good thing, but trying to stop someone from burning a flag is even worse.
