We have been on a 2 year mission to date to get a daignosis on our 2 year old son. After 2 trips to Boston Mass General they have given him an unofficial diagnosis of Mitochondrial Disease. It is a very rare disease that presents itself in variable forms and unfortunately for our son Garrett it has taken the form of his not being able to crawl, sit up or walk. He is currently in daily rehabilitation and this video shows the results of a 2 week trial of Sinemet. The results at first were encouraging however short lived. He was able to sit up and hold his torso and head as never before for the first 2 days but unfortunately since, has slipped back to pre Sinemet symptoms. He has had every known testing including all genetic testing and has no formal diagnosis. We can be reached by email at gmpg19@yahoo.com.
Thanks
