I agree.

I know the curve in the hammock that is comfortable for me so, with someone holding one end and me holding the other, I moved it up and down until I got the right curve.
The farther the attachment-points, the higher they'd have to be to get that optimal curvature.
It may take a while to find the right curvature that is comfortable to you since it's a personal preference.
Hope this helps.

How did you calculate that 56 inches is the right height for the room?

do you know makena diaz or ronan diaz ?
-
No that would be pulling straight down on the threads causing it to pop
-
Would the same thing apply if you where handing a hammock chair from the ceiling?

Thanks so much for your simple instructions!

I have been wanting to install a hammock in my office but the walls aren't very strong and cheaply made do I have any other options?

Stand-alone hammock stand. I had a folding one made of metal tubes from amazon, but I had to make a hammock to replace the uncomfortable one that came with it.

i don't think the frame of my house is strong enough to hold that :/ is there any way to find out before doing this?

Not sure, maybe put in the eye bolts and sit on the hammock carefully. You'll hear the frames creak and see them bow if they're not strong enough?
Do this at your own risk though.

Do you have any idea how much weight that will support? I weigh 325 lbs so.... it makes me nervous. lol

No offense intended but I think you'd need a reinforced hammock and regular wall studs will most probably not be strong enough. :)
