God I havent heard this album since I was 13-14 years old. I was going through my boxes of middle school stuff. Hahaha. This was the best song from this album no doubt.

@HumaneAnon :T it isn't about that, though. it's about when Jesse's grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. the title is probably just a metaphor.

Good song. By the whining voice really doesn't remind me of the suffering that might have taken place at the original Guernica or the painting produced from those happenings.

Brand New is so unique. Their lyrics and sound hit somewhere deep inside me where most music doesn't..
I know everyone hates this, and no one will probably listen, but I'm a college kid with the dream of making music the rest of my life. I did a cover of "The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot," it would mean a lot to me if you guys checked out my page, and give me a thumbs up so I can be seen by more people. Thank you everyone!
