  • This video is addressing dried ink in the cartridge however if you have dried ink in the actual nozzle head or nozzles themselves this method will not resolve the problem.

Apparently using Acetone or nail polish remover will actually damage the nozzles.

  • Epson and HP are cheap.

  • i like tasty bread!

  • why is the internet so great?

  • for my epson i just went to maintence> nozzle check> head clean and it just cleaned the printer head for me.

  • I have a Brother MFC- 240c I cant get past the error message replace yellow , no matter what have had this apart so many times could do it with my eyes closed .

cleaned everthing . can this be bypassed because this error is bogus .

any help please before I don't have any hair left.

  • DO NOT DO THIS WITH YOUR EPSON CARTRIDGE!! Epsons dont have printheads on their cartridges. Never have, never will. Epson uses an internal printhead system so you have to replace the whole machine if it clogs. Epson are a bunch of crooks... Come on Printcountry, you should know better. Shame on you.

  • how are the cartridges morphing into epsons after removal from the brother printer? lol

  • does anyone know how to do the print head cleaning process on a lexmark x1180

  • you dont need magic bullet- only a syringe, makeshift tube and warm water. inject gently, the water straight into the cartridge pickup nozzle. mine was blocked totally and after 1 rinse and a head clean is now perfect. honest.

  • I have a ultrasonic cleaner(normal use for this, is for cleaning jewellery and medical instruments) I dip the printer head into warm water within the ultrasonic bath for about 10 minutes or less and the ink just flows away. Remove the sticky label that covers the refilling ports, force air through the ports by blowing with your mouth and the ink will exude from the printer head. This will usually clear the printer head. Make sure any residual ink is cleaned off before putting your mouth there
