I use a carbon tipped razor blade to remove the type of overspray that the clay bar cannot. Long before the clay bar was ever invented this was and still is my chosen method to remove any type of overspray. Check out some of my Protective & Marine Coatings videos.

To answer your question, yes I am using a razor blade. I call it blading This method of paint overspray removal allows me to be able to remove any type of paint overspray. Do not try this on your vehicle, you will damage the paint. I have been using this method for over 20 years. Long time before clay was in use. First I wax the car, then I blade through the wax and then clay through the wax If you have time check out my Ford GT40 Ferrari Killer, I had to blade this one (Music Steve Vai )
