@erien4music I think it's because Catsle is a serious option. She knows him. And the more you know of something or someone, the more you fear it. Demming and Josh are like princes charming who arrived on their whit horses. She doesn't need to ask herself question: they're "perfect" ; while she knows the best and the worst parts of Richard Castle. If she is with castle, it also means she's risking the life of her beloved one every day at work... But that's just what I think.

@erien4music it's not about the doubts. she knows guys like demming and josh are not real. she's afraid of being with castle because she knows it would be real but she afraid she will get hurt. like with her mother and royce. hoped i could help :)

I know it's just fiction, but I can't understand why Kate go out with boys like Demming who meet him in a gym or Josh who show up from nowhere, but Castle has been 3 years with her and have been through a lot together and she always has doubts....I can't understand...
