I'm not sure if I have this or not, I had US a while back but I just heard about this, and I scanned with Avast, and it found nothing, nothing that bad like popups have been happening, what should I do?

@BetaFlux PLEASE HELP.. Every time i boot the PC a CMD opens up called i explore.exe and i'm getting a virus called Trojan downloader.win32.generic
i dont know what's that or where it came from but i wanna get it off my PC

@BetaFlux I happen to be on safe mode w/ networking. That's the only way I could acess most icons on my desktop. When I start my computer regularly, the icons in my desktop won't work since most of them is been infected with t-b.w32.k.g or some got moved or deleted (not responsible for it). Also, if I want to download something, this virus prevents it from happening. How can I get rid of this damn virus? Any suggestions? I can't listen to your video on safe mode w/networking btw. -_-

@BetaFlux well it wouldnt allow me so I used this program called Revo uninstaller, and now its all solved, thanks!
My issue is that I downloaded some youtube downloader and now I always get to this Page "starwebsearch" if I start my webbrowser even If i change the homepage and also every url i cpy paste automaticly conerts to some site related to this youtube downloader virus, and theres no way I can removeit

@DailyCodForYou look under (add n remove programs) and look for the websearch program and uninstall it.

@BetaFlux please help me!! i cant open the task manager ,,, it says that it has been diabled by the administrator but i didn't disable it,,, My brother suggest that we go to the service center and reformat it while the files are back up in the (D:) ...Does that help?? Does the files on the Back up (D:) wouldn't have the win32 trojan downloader virus??

@hi2miyambe Ya the best thing for you would be to reinstall windows using your restore option and moving your things to D is cool, just run a good virus scan on D: before opening any of the files. Avast has a nice online scan tool on there website.

@hi2miyambe Yes nod32 is a very good anti virus. I use avast only because it is the best FREE one I have found available
