what i know from growing up in SA and living in canada for 5 years is that its a bloody hard language to immitate,since its obviouslyso unique.i can ditstinguish out of a crowd of fifty people talking at once.i dont have much of the accent anymore.(born in canada).
but i have been told its a sexy accent.so fuckyeah!

Ease up, dude. If an American does an Aussie accent for a bunch of Americans and they LIKE the performance, it's a little boorish for an Aussie to barge in and go, "you've done a shitty job, mate. Now *I* will show you a proper Australian accent." That would be unwelcome and a bit pedantic.
