giovanni verga | dj producer

Giovanni Verga, was born in 1976 and started playing piano at early age studying classical music. Soon after that, he has always maintained his interest in studying music, attending several jazz courses and graduating in "d.a.m.s" (disciplines of arts and music). in the beginning of '90s he started djing and, since a couple of years, also playing as dj in many clubs eclectic sets that go from chilled vibes to techno passing from detroit-house always taking inspiration from jazz, funk, dub, and avant music.
he also plays live set in more performative and experimental contexts. based in Berlin nowadays he runs projects as producer and performer such as: rotarydisco76 (with ettore sorrentino aka g-blaster) , cupis (with gianni gebbia), chambermachine (with camillo amalfi), evolving duo (with diego spitaleri).
his music has been released on several labels like trenton records, strictly groove, kina music, discovolanterecordings, blaq.
