  • Hi gudm

I use Traxxas own 14.4V motors. I don't know in they are 17 turns, but they perform really good if the Nimh batteries are new.

The water cooling is from Graupner and really makes a difference. Before I had to let the motors cool for 15 min after 10 min run at max speed. Now I don't need any breaks at all and I can touch the motors right after a race with my hands. Can't feel any heat.

  • where do i get the super lube from ? a good sex shop ?lol , no seriously where from, and whats the best oil to use for the motors ?

  • lol, I got it from a local German hobby shop. Itøs based on some silicone grease

  • i got one question can u get bigger motors in that thing cause im going to get one but it goes slow and can they be ballencd out more when they r in the water

  • sure the Villain can take even bigger motors. Can also take two brushless motors if you really need power.

In my case the 550 are fine because in rough water, more speed will only cause the Vilain to flip over.

  • i have the traxxas vilain ex, can i water cool the motors as well ? and will the pipes just fit on to my evx2 marine esc alongside the other ((esc water cooling)) ones? if so then what part nummbers do i want cheers , nick ,, ow and whats the best mah batterys currently?

  • sure you can water cool the EX, The two motors in my Villain is now EX and it works just fine.

Part numbers can be found on graupner dot comm homepage

  • hi there, my friend... what size are those motors? i saw in previews posts that you are german. I've got a graupner Hydroplane with Motor Speed 700BB TURBO and i'm looking for a faster motor. I use a 14,8V LiPo Battery with a 16V ESC (no reverse). i'm also buying some water cooling system for this Hydroplane. Any hints? tks
