This incident actually spared BMW a major embarrassment. Piquet's BMW engine was apparently about to give up in the German (thus home) Grand Prix for BMW with their officials watching in the stands, thus Salazar pushing him off was very fortunate. Piquet also later apologised :)

Deinterlacing is your friend, learn how to use it.
The video is horrible, but still, a classic moment in F1 and Salazar was a complete tool.

who wants me to upload the full version of this race?

"aaand take that!" lol I love Murray.

Mayber salazar simply aquaplaned? It looks like the track was a little dark/wet there, it's abit hard to see.
-
'salazar was probaly lucky not to be beaten up' :D

3 times champion, 3 different cars and different engines.
here in Brazil he drives BMW M6 and dont care for speed cameras, which caused him some trouble with driver license.. I remember 1 year ago saw him leaving a restaurant with M6... FUll throttle burning tires hahaha

That indeed is the old Hockenheim, when it was Hockenheim, not that Tilke-fied crap that circuit is today.

Which track is this? Is this the old Hockinheim?
James Hunt certainly didn't hold back on his criticism! Still, it made him great to listen to, and he's sorely missed.

i was never the biggest fan of piquet but salazar should have been booted off his team for that bit of atrocious and embrassing driving
