Fine song thanks for the post - maybe Patti does look hard boiled hard boiled but her talent is such that she need not affect grotesque costume nor bizarre stage props - the lady has what it takes......

this world has been hard on all of us from the sixties and I am now exception. This person and many others have paid their dues, so respect them for that.
It would be interesting to see what YOU look like in a few years. Scary isn't it.

@unsubdu3d As a major Stones fan, I have to say that, even if you believe that, Patti Smith would kick the shit out of Mick's boney ass. She's a better live performer than he is, too, which is truly amazing.
And I think the Stones are the greatest f*cking rock n roll band on the planet.
