Video: Droid does multi-touch, in one app at least

Google Maps had an update today, low and behold. Multi-touch! You can head on down to the Android Market and download the latest version of Google Maps, version 3.40, and get busy with your pinch and zoom. The update also added some of the new features to the maps application seen on the Droid. Now this is a far cry from the Android 2.1 update 1 version the Nexus has, but any multi-touch is better than no multi-touch. Though I am seeing many people growing more frustrated lately that their brand new Droid, or brand new Moment, dont have Android 2.1. What gives Google? Yeah get it out there for us all so we can be happy, thanks! Heres a sample of the multi-touch on the Droid in action.

my droid does pinch to zoom in all needed apps example maps, web, pictures. Rooted droid my droid has custom colors and is overclocked at 1ghz.
