EXAMPLE OF SOMETHING WE DON'T HAVE TODAY (free press) AND EXACTLY HOW WE LOST IT.... This, one of the all time great movies, show two things that are so vital to our nation today. First it shows how our Constitutional system was designed to work and if it is allowed to function as designed what it can overcome... and secondly it shows what happens when a one powerful entity owns all forms of media and press, along with major corporations with their lobbyist and influence peddlers manipulating government. This movie shows a State wide example of what we currently have saturating every fiber of our society and nation, promoted and sustained by a 100% owned and controlled Media and Press.

  • The film shows men have not changed. The Americans are seeing the truth as we they (mainstream media) try sway public support for another war. Who are the Taylors today? It is the Military Industrial Complex, Big Oil, Investment Banking, Corporate Agriculture. There was a time when congress was the NOT totally bought out and truly represented all Americans. They kept big corporations in checked, but NOW have seen what happens when regulations (banking, FDA, mortgage, EPA, etc.) are reversed.

  • @yhenry77 Who controls every fiber of our monetary system, and actually have unchecked control of it... ? The Federal Reserve is the raving cancer behind every thing you mentioned above.. You're right we have zero Representation and the only, only answer is a pure grass roots movement base on this TRUTH, Standing, Uniting and Organizing to gain back Representation and our Republic..

  • Jim Taylor = George Soros!

  • An innocent man comes up against a Senate controlled by the One Percent. A true classic!

  • @yhenry77 There are few restrictions on the flow of capital or of labor. Legatum's scholars point out that Denmark, for example, has little job protection, but generous unemployment benefits. So business owners can keep the right number of workers, while workers can have a safety net while they muck around looking for that fulfilling job.

  • @yhenry77 from a forbes article on happiest and most successfull cultures .. What else? They are all borderline socialist states, with generous welfare benefits and lots of redistribution of wealth. Yet they don't let that socialism cross the line into autocracy. Civil liberties are abundant (consider decriminalized drugs and prostitution in the Netherlands).
