I was in the audience opening night, producer's house seats, and trust me, she hit the note. The audience was stunned, then we went wild! It was electrifying!

Holy CRAP. I actually sort of agree with some of the people below who say that the last note isn't very pretty--but I think it doesn't matter. That's just an amazing thing she does, and it matches the total ecstasy of the song. Three cheers!

Saw this production with Melba Moore, Cleavon Little, Sherman Helmsley(George Jefferson). Bought the album immediatley her voice filled the entire theatre gave you chilss without a microphone. I was 12
