  • You know what i love? the fact that, the entire way through the "serious" version, the audience are busting their asses laughing. the laughter throughout the "sad" version of the song just really made it worthwhile - which goes to show that her point is even more valid. i love her!

  • she is the best person ever.

    EVER. EVER. EVER.

  • I wish I could SPANK the piano like her and sound so good

  • @BonnyDramaGirl You couldn't get that from listening to the song?

  • oh my god

this video makes me love her even more

i mean, i know neil is cool and all

but she should just marry me

  • She is a beautiful person! Body and soul!

  • @Jinkahnn That's exactly what I meant by people taking it at face value.

I not once said there was no dark humour or sarcasm in the song. There definitely is. But the underlying meaning is what people (much like you) are missing. That yes, a girl was raped, got and abortion and became a laughing stock, but music made her feel better.

I'm not even saying that's what the song is about. That's just what I take from it. That's the message that comes through to me.

    Chill the fuck out.

  • @themoonlanding0 omg rly? hum, a girl was raped, got an abortion, became the school laugh, lost her best friend, and she simply doesn't care cause she wrote to her fav. band and got an answer AND still goes to a concert with the whore ex best friend. Yep, ur right, there is NO dark humor and sarcasm what so ever in the lyrics. No sir, and the girl's priorities are as well defined as an emo kid. I'd bet my left imaginary nut she would slash her wrists if the concert was to be canceled, tho.

  • I think some people on't realise the song's meaning. They just take it at face value. To me it's about a girl who's going through a really bad time, but she's finding happiness in music and she has this favourite band, and music, and it's like a bandaid she can put on her feelings about all these bad situations.

  • ohhey channelling Tori Amos there.

  • I was there. Dying of laughter xD
