Beauty in the Eyes of Nice - Spoken Word (Robert Jeffrey Meisner)

I had to write down my thoughts on paper...so I did...Thanks to George Watsky, Shane Koyczan and bball1989 for giving me inspiration.


Girls...no... women, you can do so much more
Guys, instead of looking at her shirt, start looking at her core,
At her body, you see 1%,
In her eyes, you see 2%
In her heart is the 107% in which angels have sent
There's no reason for boys to overlook their insecurities in order to "get some"
If you wanna become a man, learn to treat a woman like if both of you were together, you would become one
Treat women like they're princesses and beauty is where they're from
They deserve to be treated above and beyond, for one day, they may carry your son
Now how can I know about this you ask?
I look like just some Asian boy stuck on writing drafts
Look, just because I stay at home a lot doesn't mean my life's boring,
It means I focus on reaching oput, while being trapped in my own sets of flowing stories....
Listen....
I don't believe that I was born to be a king

But I do know that I was raised in the arms of a queen who's married to a king

And if I'm destined to be a prince then I will try and be the best one I can be

I was taught enough to understand what goes on in this world
The people who have still ceased to understand that they can't just live in their own world

Many forget about the one word...what's it called?

LOVE....

They forget and replace it with the word called

LUST....

It makes me wonder whatever happened to PROMISE & TRUST

Whatever happened to friendship before relationship?

No....whatever happened to both? I guess they fell off that ship just becoming friend and relation

Instead, boys aim to be after just the outside

Like a simple tag and go, not even willing to ride the tide

Love is just a word now, used in a question including "You lied" with it
Like love is just physical instead of having the feeling of happiness accompanying it
I don't know about you all but I know what a woman should be treated like

I know what actual love is

Love is the feeling you get where you want to rip the clouds from the sky and put them in a machine

Love makes you want to mix the clouds by hand so you can feel what you're putting in it
You want to create cotton candy clouds and give it to the person and people you love and say,

"Here, I made it for you :)"

The feeling makes you want to take the stars in the night sky and kill them then,

Turn the sky into firework of supernovas creating shades from purple to yellowing spelling out the name of the people you care about

It makes you want to take the burning depths of hell and turn the Devil's domain into ice

It makes you feel like... you've become your mother

Love makes you want to do everything in your power to protect the ones you care about

Like they're your cubs...and you're the momma

Like you're King Leonitus of the 300 Spartans and you won't give up until you're finished

L.O.V.E. isn't meant to be a game of just tag it and quit it

And calling a girl ugly won't boost your popularity one bit

I'm on a train

Where does this train go?

It brings me to the land of Care

Where people won't stop and stare for the simplest mistakes

In that land, women are considered beautiful even without make-up

Where the feeling of being loved for the right reasons won't have to be earned, but accepted right away

Some women might've just experienced too much to not feel pretty or trust guys anymore

I want to let you all know,

There are guys who aim to treat a princess right

Who want to make your sunrises and sunsets sustain as a never-ending cycle of happiness

Who won't say I love you just to take advantage of you

But who actually mean it

Ladies, women, girls, every single one of you are beautiful

Without make-up, thinking you look your worst, is actually the best feeling a nice guy could get knowing you trust him enough to just hang out with him in your pajamas

And yes I said nice guys

We exist.
We're here.
Just listen.

And just remember, YOU ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL, no matter what circumstances.
