The game takes itself very seriously. You have infanticide, incest, pedophilia, and of course, genocidal warfare. All to the tune of epic music.

i love listening to that song he sings!!! the tune is just awesome, hes got a brilliant voice :)

@CarminaBG of what proof do you have that Furiae was carrying Inuart's child? i would be interested to know where you found such information.
-
i did some research before. i read even and intrview with the creators of the game, ..They were planing to release Drakengard manga as prequel, where the "brotherly-sisterly" relationship is the main plot. I dont know if that project ever came to life though...but it was definately about incest, so the public reaction wasnt very pleased, at least in the forum. May be they never released it after all. All I know is that Caim and Furiae share a bond far beyond br-sis and is mutual.

@FightingWind Yep. In the Japanese version, it goes into more detail about how his love for Furiae growing even after she died. He kept her body and tended for it s though she were still living.
-
I think it's so funny how Caim discreetly puts his arm around Furiae.

@DarkDragon1889 Inuart was actually a necrophiliac in the japanese version? Well he kissed her dead body and probably undressed her... (deduced on her costume change at the egg scene when she already died) but not too sure about necrophiliac.
-
@CarminaBG serious? where did you get this information?
-
YOU CALL THAT A SONG? YOU STRUMED THE STRINGS LIKE 7 TIMES
-
Not only that, but Inuart is also a necrophiliac and Leonard is a pedophile. All of this is much more watered down on the American version, tho. ^.^;

The only good thing about Inuart is a sword - looks so cool, and yeah Furiae loves Caim. If he hugged her instead of turning away at that fortress things would be different.
