In 2000, 2001 & 2002 my son and I would drive from Kalamazoo to volunteer on the Boyer. It was great bonding fun for the guys. When he hit 16 however...lol...he had othr things on his mind. We do have fond memories of "working"....lol...cleaning up from parties the night before, painting, dusting and treating the woodwork in the forward spaces, hosing the deck or whatever was needed. We sure miss Eddie & Chuck :)

Other then color, she looks idenctical to the Joseph H. Frantz (Now scrapped). Were they of the same class?
