I ask because your words mimic what the ancient disbelievers used to say, and their words are similar to yours and also recorded in the Quran.

When a Prophet sent from God would come to them, bringing them true signs, they would say "nothing but the tale of ancients!" or accuse the Prophets of being madmen or magicians -

How true, are the words of our Lord, when he says the disbelievers are alike - no matter which century they live in.
