I don't always play fighting games, but when I do, I prefer Blazblue.

@greensloth22 This game has a huge story campaign: about 20 minutes to get to a character's ending, x 3 for the three multiple endings each character has, x 15 for each character's story = several hours longer than most fighting games campaigns (and more entertaining too).

But you don't like anime... hmm. The story is very anime-like (I'd recommend this game to all anime fans for the story alone). Try looking for a playthrough of one of the character's stories on youtube, and decide.

Question: I like fighting games like Soulcalibur, and I think this games art style is amazing.Yet, I can't bring myself to like anime. Would this game be alright for me or should I just go with UMVC? I heard UMVC's campaign is really short, is this game's campaign long lasting or short as well?

@jimmyjoemonkey Hmm I can't give up on JRPG's. I'm trying to think hard to make my game non linear. Off course you will be able to explore every inch of the world. But I'm striving to make a better combat experience than just hack in slash. Nothing wrong with anime art. I love anime art it's very nice looking.
