depends how much you have got to spend and how old. i want a early tzr250 in blue. i think the only 250 you can get new is the aprillia rs250 which is a great bike. i used to have a kr1s which was amazing but so fast and scary.

@shootingcham get your full licence and get something better. 250's are nothing to take seriously.

thanks for the great comment. got loads more to do when i have time plus need bigger hard drive used all the space up now. still getting used to converting to pc from video so some arnt that great quality.

i remember that day really well, i did well in qualifying and managed my best starting postion with 11th on the grid. kevin had bad wheel spin in front of me at the start line and that messed up my start . then i parted from the bike at the melbourne loop. i still have the bike. thanks philip mcconaghy .hello to any of the x racers from the good old days.

Great post thanks for this, I remember watching this race live on TV !! I was doing a bit of club racing myself and I saw the bike that Steve Hislop is racing here at Elvington the year after, a guy had bought it to club race, unfortunaly he crashed it quite badly !! never saw it again
