Tim Minchin Makes US Television Debut on Conan O'Brien

Australian superstar Tim Minchin appears on Conan O'Brien on January 12, 2011, to perform "Inflatable You" off his first album "Darkside."

If you liked 'Inflatable You' there's a huge body of work for you to explore. 'Rock n Roll Nerd' is perhaps Tim's signature song. 'Ten Foot Cock and a Few Hundred Virgins' explores his views on religion, and if it doesn't scare you off, try 'The Good Book.' Perhaps his most legendary work is the nine-minute beat poem 'Storm', which sums up the worldview of a skeptical rationalist, and argues that it has every bit as much to offer in terms of wonder and beauty as the pretty baubles offered by modern spirituality. And it's funny, too!

'Some People Have It Worse Than Me' is one of my personal favorites. 'Not Perfect' is a surprisingly touching reflection on being content with what you have. @CyrusShadowBlade I actually downloaded that album right after watching this yesterday. All 5 of us in my carpool were laughing hysterically the entire ride home. This guy is unbelievable, and even more impressive than I initially thought. He could easily have a very successful career as a concert pianist if he wanted to. Can't wait to hear more from him.

Ahh, I was so excited when I heard Tim was going to be on Conan. I want so bad for more people to fall in love with him. I kind of expected him to go with Inflatable You - perfect "adult humor" and uits not really offensive at all. Rock and Roll Nerd could've also been a good one.

I loved when the audience yelled "Tissue", first time I've seen that happen, I think even Tim was surprised they actually did it lol
