Researchers are finding that exercise can not only keep you fit, but make you smarter. A school in Illinois has developed a program that gets students moving and learning. Debbye Turner Bell reports.
@muaytb1 No, but he did ride his bike almost daily and take breaks to play the violin, both can be considered forms of physical exercise. The brain requires three things to survive: oxygen, glucose, and activation. Most people are lacking the latter - what they are doing here is awesome (and WAY overdue).
It's kind of common sense. You take a person and chain them to a radiator in your basement for their whole life and they're not going to be the next Einstein by any means. Then again if you know people who really love to exercise you know that there's more to intelligence than just working out.
