My New Hobby-Lobby EF2000 eRC EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON 90MM EDF jet. Working Conards, retracts, Nav Lights and thrust vectoring. Runs off 6cell lipo. I ran 2 3cell 5000mah 40c lipos in series for plenty of flight time and power.

The plane actually flys much better with conards activated! Very smooth flying jet. I was super nervous for this maiden flight, not knowing how sensitive it would be in the air, but I know now I'll be flying this Typhoon alot more!

Thanks for watching.

I will have full specs and more information on this jet on my website http://www.RCREDBARON.com soon.

LOVE THE DETAILED COCKPIT!!!! BEST DETAILED COCKPIT ON A FOAM JET ARF, I'VE SEEN YET.

THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!

I have a fair bit of experience with different prop planes and helis, am looking at a Grumania Eurofighter turbine. Just wonder if the EDF route would be a good alternative. Would certainly be the cheaper option, whats your opinion of the fan unit, ESC etc...quite good qaulity?

: I have to admit, This is by far, the best Foam EDF jet I've ever flown. And I own a ton of Foam EDF jets. You can hear the awesome sound of the EDF unit. I've had zero issues with any of the electronics and the plane just flys amazing! Since flying this jet at the field, All of the other EDF pilots there have bought one and they too find it to be their best Foam EDF jet in their fleet as well. And it just looks awesome! An A++++ from me for sure!

What strength breeze can this plane fly in? quite like the idea of an EDF jet, thinking of getting into turbines...but a nice EDF unit would be nice.

: I've flown mine in 15 mph winds before. Don't make this your 1st EDF jet though unless you are already a very experienced pilot with all types of planes. EDF's handle much differently, especially this one as it's heavy. Thanks for commenting and the question!

: I use 2 3cell 5000mah lipos in series. I put them on their side and in the stock place. My CG comes out a tad nose heavy, but I prefer this jet being that way. But it's only a tad nose heavy. Unfortunately, you really dont have much choice of moving the batt around.

Because it's better than the real thing.. just kidding :). Because the real thing is tail heavy, therefore it needs a computer to fly. The real thing computer is just a more sophisticated version of the hobby 3 axis flight stabilization system. It control not just stability but also engine performance and other parameters so that structural and flight envelop does not exceed its design limitation. But the BASIC principle remain the same, and that is longitudinal (pitch) stabilization.

Nice looking Typhoon there m8. Its a shame one cant get rid of the vacuum cleaner noise, that's the only thing letting these fan planes down i think..i wonder if there are any loud noise sound kits for these, similar to the kind one has in the RC tanks?..Worth a thought there i think m8...Cheers for the vid. Ive given you a subby...Thanks. :)

Where are the hovers, harriers, flat spins, waterfalls, knife edges? Is this a 3d jet not? This video is quite boring.

Wow, that's really very good but how do you guys keep it in the air??.. the real life one needs bunches of avionics just to keep it upright and stable in flight.

Great flying and landing. How long would you say your flight time is with your 2 3s 5000mah in series? Is everything else stock? I am torn between the Su34 and the Eurofighter for my first EDF. They both seem to have very similar flight profiles. The Su34 can chug pretty slow in the air but the Eurofighter Delta wing gives what looks like a great stall characteristic. An Su34 owner recommended the Eurofighter for my first but you say not a good idea for a first EDF?

A couple of us where I live are very interested in this type of model, we dont want the cheapy type model that probably wont cope with a breeze. Nitro is expensive and hard to freight...way too expensive for what it is..otherwise ducted fan could have been an option. I have a Trex 450 heli, always been impressed with its flight time per pack.

Checked out Hobby Lobby, sold out of the Eurofighter for now :) but will keep my eye on this

We have real Eurofighters stationed here on the Islands btw.
