Because Komatsu's entire character is totally self-deceiving, poor on any self-critic, has no valuesystem at all, and her only dream to stay in luxury and fame with good connections for an entire life. She doesn't even have the willpower to do anything for others, she feels absolutly perfect in living in a confortable lie-world.
Every teenager values his/her parents by their deeds, values and answers for the challenges of life. Satsuki surely will be disappointed in such a mom.
