A woman rings in and firstly apologises saying she will speak in English. Harjap says go for it. She says she got married last year in March, to a guy from India through a friend and her brother. He has been here since the 3rd of March, things have been really bad, Im a previous divorcee and got a little boy who is 3 but he is 4 now. He mistreated my son after 3 days. Harjap tuts. He opened a bank account but when I went to the bank they said he cant as he didnt have any utility bills or anything. He said he knew someone that worked at HSBC and he would open it for him. So he has managed to open an account and managed to do a few other things, especially with the new card which is not a problem but the card has come to my household. She says he is not aware that I have written to the home office and they know I have been betrayed. So I sent the letter but I have not heard from them. Harjap says they usually dont reply, it is not something to worry about, you need to write to the Home Office in Croydon and your Local Enforcements Section. She says I dont have there... Harjap asks whereabouts do you live. She says I live in Southall, well Hayes. Harjap says if you live in Hayes, on Staines Road in Hounslow, there is a place called Eaton House. It is a massive place; you know where they have a boot sale on Sunday. She says yes. Harjap says it is right opposite it, thats where all the boys go to sign, that is the Enforcement Section and you also need to put it in writing to them as well because those are the guys who are going to send him back. Croydon will make a decision to cancel his visa and then these guys will go and pick him up. She says I told them I have withdrawn my sponsorship. Harjap says thats fine, he wont be able to get permanent now. She says he has messed around and he has probably done exactly the same thing to whoever he married to get here. Harjap asks her if she is Punjabi. She says yeah. Harjap says why did you marry a Hyderabad. She says no I didnt marry to a Hyderabad, I got married to a guy from Punjab and it was just my friends brother and she introduced us but after the wedding the next day, she totally changed towards me. Her wedding was the same, in January. So we went up there and she abused me so much in her house, it was unbelievable and no one, her whole family was there including relatives and no one said anything. Harjap says is there no chance it is going to work out now. She says it cant be, he has mistreated my son not one time but on many occasions and he even lies to me and a lot has happened in the house.
