Hey guys! I have a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT to make.

When I reviewed my past videos during these few days, I did not like the way I played most of the pieces which I posted up on my YouTube channel thus far. Mainly because I usually did not spend much time practicing the new pieces, the playing was invariably nowhere near my expectations. So, I decided that this is going to be the FIRST video which marks the beginning of FULLY MASTERED PIECES. This video and the upcoming videos will truly reflect me as a concert pianist with a distinct point of view.

As you may have noticed, I have played this piece quite some time ago, and posted up the video on my YouTube channel. During the time frame between that video and this video, my piano teacher edited my score quite heavily, adding a lot of "Tempo Rubato", and I myself added my own interpretative point of view into this piece.

I hope you all enjoy this! I'll be playing this piece together with Chopin's Scherzo No. 2 during the upcoming piano recital. Rate, and leave a comment! ^____^

  • @dexchan

    which movie?

  • I am also learning this piece too. Your interpretation is fresh for me. But I would suggest you to handle the rests carefully as they are also the parts of the music.

  • Hmm, even though you play it very well, i don't like your interpretation. It is a nocture, a nightly song, i don't really believe your interpretation fits this name. It is too angular, to rough i would say. But then, you are freely allowed to play it however you want. And i really like how you played the other pieces :)

I'll upload this nocturne soon, too. Hope to get your comment about it. Good luck!

  • haha! i had to watch that part over again :p

how did you enjoy the movie?

  • this sounds A LOT better playing wise and sound quality wise.

  • wow this is good
