I'VE made dozens of comments here but have never criticised Anything..Other
commentators may see me as a Rubber Stamp, without the Ear to understand
either good or bad music(!) So, with great respect for performers, and arrangers: 1 st criticism Ever! : The Synthesised Bass effect drowns the traditional instruments in 2 ways: It is too loud, which drowns the Subtlety
of the traditional instruments It is so loud. It drowns the whole melody and its continuity often. --otherwise ok
I listen to most of the world's music: the Arabic, the Greek, North African, etc etc, This music is quite different. --a "different" cymbalom sound, a "different" blend
of drums and 'tambourine' with several instruments which I recognise but cant name. To me music is culture and art, each leads to the other.
This music is so "light" --that is: 'delicate' and sweet and understated.
To my ear it is so --original and fresh. The little I know of Persian culture is, also.
ok ----I was wrong :(( I played this with superfi (new headphones): No bass
rumble No drowned instruments. Sorry Folks---Next'''''

Forgot to mention the dancer She is beautiful and the dance is authentic. Dancing
in barefeet is utterly charming! Excellent performance!
