  • It isn't just the view that is affected, and that is tragic in a world where natural wonders are treasures to be protected. But the pollution that comes down in the haze affects not only the Four Corners region but also as far as CA and beyond (into the ocean) to the west and likewise in every direction. We must stop allowing big polluters to continue ravaging our future and that of our children! Linda

  • It's sad. That haze I saw when I visited the Grand Canyon last summer was smog? I wasn't aware that there was air pollution up there. :(

    we NEED to PROTECT OUR National parks. It's the governments OBLIGATION to protect them & keep them pristine.

    Right now the Rethuglicans are going out of their way to allow them to be exploited for drilling, mining, cutting trees for lumber, whatever it takes to get that money! The destruction of PUBLIC lands for PRIVATE profits is evil.
