  • they were local legends in nj- my dad would drag me to The Cove in the early 80's where they'd play insanely aggressive trio stuff. made me fall in love with jazz and become a pianist! The drummer would do a gimmick where he'd play on Norman's bass strings for a totally percussive bass solo on sweet georgia brown as well.

  • Hey this is really good man! I've never heard of Nanton before, or any of the other musicians for that matter, but these guys are really cookin'.
